ATTORNEYS
Bio (continued)
Nicholas received his B.S. from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 2021 and his Juris Doctor from Vermont Law and Graduate School in 2025. During law school, he distinguished himself through both academic and professional achievement, serving as a member and Articles Editor of the Vermont Law Review and completing a concentration in Energy Law and Policy. He further developed his legal experience through internships and clerkships with Clayton Homes, Inc., NASA’s Kennedy Space Center Office of General Counsel, the Public Utility Law Project of New York, and the North Carolina Sustainable Energy Association. These experiences exposed Nicholas to a broad range of legal and regulatory issues and taught him to approach complex matters from both practical and analytical perspectives. He brings those experiences to his practice at Asheville Legal, where he has practiced since graduating from law school.
Nicholas focuses his practice on corporate law, construction law, and general civil litigation, with additional experience in environmental and energy litigation. His diverse background allows him to approach complex matters with a broad perspective while remaining focused on the specific goals of each client. He is particularly interested in transactional matters where careful planning, thorough drafting, and attention to detail can help clients identify and address problems before they become disputes. Nicholas takes pride in being diligent, responsive, and thorough, and he strives to give every client a complete understanding of the issues affecting their matter. Outside of the practice of law, Nicholas enjoys the outdoors and is an avid rock climber, hiker, and water-sports enthusiast. He enjoys the physical and mental challenges of climbing and is always looking for his next challenging summit or great view. A proud University of Tennessee alumnus, he also remains an enthusiastic supporter of the Tennessee Volunteers.
